Pre-school / Children's Ministries

At New Cut Road Baptist Church, we wholeheartedly believe that "children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord." (BF&M XVIII).  We also take seriously the biblical mandate to diligently teach our children the ways of the Lord (Deut 6:7).  In order to be faithful to those trusted to our care, we offer the following activities and opportunities.

Children's Activities

- Child care for infants and pre-school children during regular services
- Children's church for grade school children during Sunday morning worship
- Wednesday evening bible study classes

Children's Church

Our children's church uses a slightly modified version of Great Commission Publication's "Kids' Quest Catechism Club" materials and is well into a two-year study of the "First Catechism," a question and answer format designed to teach children the basics of the Christian faith in a short memorable form.  Drawing on the rich history and tradition of catechizing, our children are learning about God, the Trinity, Creation, Scripture, Adam & Eve, God's covenant of grace, sin, the Fall, and grace--a summary of the whole biblical message!
