Rev. Greg Smith came to New Cut Road Baptist Church in 1990 after completing a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was called here to his first pastorate as the church's first full-time pastor of the church. In his own words, "All of this inexperience was a recipe for disaster, but God has been faithful! As we sought Him, God has blessed." Perhaps Pastor Greg best describes the Lord's work since he first came to New Cut Road, "He has empowered us to work together to see many lives and hearts changed. At the same time, God has used this church to shape my life and ministry. I have come to a new understanding of the power of God's Holy Spirit as I have watched Him work among His people.
